Quantum Break will soon be removed from Xbox Game Pass, which has many subscribers wondering at the moment.
Currently, the upcoming Xbox Game Pass removals also show the game Quantum Break in the Xbox app, which is surprising to many subscribers at the moment.
Quantum Break is an IP owned by Microsoft and the game itself was published by Microsoft Studios. Now the speculation and guesswork has begun as to why Quantum Break might be removed from Microsoft’s subscription.
As always, one possibility could be licensing reasons. It is most likely that licenses with contractual partners have not been renewed and removal is therefore unavoidable.
Or Microsoft gave the IP to Remedy Entertainment, as they did with Alan Wake, and the new “owner” requested de-subscription.
We have already written to Microsoft and asked for their opinion. If we get a response, we’ll update this article.
