On Thursday, April 6, official sales of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor will start. AMD has already sent press samples of the new “stone” to major publications along with the necessary documentation, including the results of its own tests. It is quite expected that these benchmarks immediately became public.
AMD previously shared gaming benchmarks for the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, but the list of games back then was sparse. In fresh benchmarks, the company compared it with the Intel Core i9-13900K in more than two dozen projects, and the new “red” does not always come out ahead. However, on average, according to the results of official tests, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D turned out to be 6.9% faster. Performance measurements were carried out at 1080p resolution with high graphics quality settings.
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the youngest of the trinity of AM5 processors with 3D V-Cache technology. It received eight Zen 4 cores with support for SMT technology, 96 MB of L3 cache and operates at a frequency of 4.2 to 5.0 GHz in dynamic overclocking. Passport level TDP is 120 watts. In foreign stores, the novelty can be purchased at a price of $449.
