A new teaser from Atlus has made Persona fans on the lookout and wondering if the company will show Persona 6. Rumors pointing to the announcement of Persona 6 have been around for a long time, but so far nothing has come of these rumors and speculation. Currently, the game is not expected to be revealed by chance, but as part of a larger event, be it a Persona event, a PlayStation event, Summer Games Fest, or something else. If these expectations are correct, then the next opportunity to unveil Persona 6 will officially come on April 9th.
This week, Atlus announced a special livestream that will take place on April 9th. It will share details and information about the upcoming Persona Super Live P-Sound WISH 2022: Crossing Journeys concert, which will be held on May 24 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series. Many fans are betting that the concert will be the venue for the Persona 6 announcement, and rightly so, however, according to Atlus, there will be some “exciting news” in this broadcast on April 9th. Naturally, this led some fans to speculate that it was Persona 6.
At this point, that seems unlikely, especially with a 25th anniversary event looming on the horizon. However, maybe it will be a small teaser, and a full trailer will be shown already at a major event.
