With Final Fantasy 16, one of the major game releases of 2023 awaits us in just a few months. The long-awaited new part of the time-honored role-playing series is apparently basically finished three months before release and only needs to be polished. The game itself is fully playable and the conditions for a great release couldn’t be better.
Final Fantasy 16 is done!
The official Final Fantasy account announced on Twitter that the latest part of the series, Final Fantasy 16 (buy now €99.99) is ready. A full three months before the release, the developers probably managed to be ahead of schedule. Square Enix will certainly spend the rest of the time until the big release with bug fixing and the necessary fine-tuning before the game is then presented to the public.

The Twitter post features an image showing two of the developers and a cute stuffed animal. The tweet reads: “We from the entire team, including Torgal, hope you are excited for the launch of FF16.”
Release, pre-order, different versions
Final Fantasy 16 will be available on June 22nd, 2023 and will be available in two different versions. In addition to the standard edition, there will also be a deluxe edition. It includes a digital mini artbook and the game’s soundtrack. All pre-orders of both the Standard Edition and the Deluxe Edition will receive the Braveheart weapon and two digital accessories upon release.

Final Fantasy 16 will initially appear exclusively for the Playstation 5, a version for Xbox is probably not planned. According to a developer, the Xbox is “too weak” for this. A PC version could be available in the future. By the way: In the meantime, the playing time of the role-playing game is also known.
