One month after the PS2 version, Milestone’s ‘CARPG’ is launched on Microsoft’s Xbox: With 25 Alfa Romeo cars, you race over 20 racetracks, city circuits and country roads. For overtaking maneuvers or aggressive driving, you collect experience points and equipment, which you use to improve your driver’s skills.

As expected, the changes on the Xbox are minimal: the graphics are a bit cleaner and no longer flicker, but curiously enough all online functions have been eliminated – but that doesn’t bother me, it’s still fun.
