Mechanics VoiceOver studio continues to work on several projects and this time they published a video showing the process of working on the localization of HI-FI RUSH and a funny video for April 1st
Today you will see mostly bad and steamy moments in the localization of games, as well as learn how difficult it is to voice Ishimura’s epileptic crew members and how insidious the word “dick” is in relation to dubbing actors. The video contains a lot of previously unseen roles, including a little bit of TOMMY VERCETTI himself, performed by Alexei Myasnikov. And besides him, there are also many other incredibly cool actors in the frame, you can find the list in the description of the video.
Hi-Fi Rush is made in a cartoon style, reminiscent of games like Jet Set Radio. In it, a “future rock star” and his companions are trying to defeat a large corporation. The hero must go through all departments of the corporation, each dedicated to a musical genre, and complete each department with a boss battle.
