Bandai Namco has taken advantage of the media coverage guaranteed by EVO Japan 2023 to present to the world two more wrestlers from Tekken 8: ladies and gentlemen, Leroy Smith ed Asuka Kazama!
Just like their predecessors, including Ling Xiaoyu, Jun Kazama, Lars Alexandersson, King, Marshall Law and Paul, also Leroy Smith and Asuka Kazama showed off their movesets in two action-packed gameplay trailers, which we’ve attached at the top and bottom of this news story for your convenience.
Leroy Smith is a recent acquaintance of the franchise, having first appeared as part of the third Season Pass of Tekken 7. Raised in New York, he is a martial arts expert, fights with rapid attacks and punches flurries, also being very skilled in parry. Asuka, first introduced in Tekken 5, is another member of the illustrious Kazama family, from whom she has absorbed the fighting style and a strong penchant for defense. She is Jin Kazama’s cousin and niece Jun Kazama.
