Although last minute yesterday we recommended you open Netflix to enjoy a good comedy on Sunday afternoon with the movie Criminals in sight, today we bring you an underwater horror adventure that rhymes with a movie and for which you do not need a subscription to any streaming platform, because it premieres tonight on La 1.

Surely you have already guessed it from the header image of the news: indeed we are talking about Megalodón, the entertaining feature film by Jon Turteltaub starring Jason Statham who revived one of the most colossal beasts of the aquatic world in 2018.

La 1 premieres tonight the underwater horror film Megalodon

Write down in your diaries: “Sunday April 2 at 22:05 –Spanish peninsular time-“, because tonight in the 1 premiere megalodona film about a prehistoric shark that triumphed a few summers ago and made us fear going to the beach almost as much as Shark.

its protagonist Jonas Taylorembodied by the action hero Jason Stathamyou must save a team that is in the deepest ocean trench in the Pacific when attacked by a giant shark about 23 meters in length. In reality, this creature is none other than the megalodon, a shark of the Cenozoic period which was thought to be extinct.

10 scary and horror movies that manage to scare even the bravest

Jonas Taylor had already faced this creature five years ago, but no one had believed it. And now he roams the seas, causing chaos wherever he goes and terrorizing the population.

Surely you will not find any better movie in the television grid to see tonight that Jon Turteltaub’s Megalodon on La 1. Action, adventure, underwater terror, giant monsters and Jason Statham, little more can be asked of Sunday! And if you miss it live, you can always watch it on Netflix.
