The first patches for the horror survival adventure The Last of Us Part 1, which was previously released exclusively on the Playstation 5 and recently launched on the Windows PC with numerous minor and major problems, should provide a quick remedy. But according to the many reviews from players, the hotfixes have so far been largely ineffective. The developer studio has now announced two major bug fixes for the coming week.

Naughty Dog promises a fix with upcoming patches
After patch v1.0.1.5 and patch v1.0.1.6 largely came to nothing and were not yet able to fix the various problems in the game, the Naughty Dog developers announced a hotfix via Twitter, which primarily “fixes the stuttering in mouse-controlled camera movements” and “some crashes”. A larger patch will also follow later this week.
“A hotfix for The Last of Us Part I on PC is scheduled for Tuesday that will fix mouse-controlled camera movement stuttering, some crashes and more. Another major patch with additional fixes will then be released over the coming week.”

The sometimes random crashes and the unsatisfactory control with mouse and keyboard are the biggest annoyances for gamers, along with the process of compiling the shader cache, which can take up to 90 minutes.
A slightly positive trend can be seen
Nevertheless, a slightly positive trend can be seen after the last patch, which can also be seen in the reviews on the Steam games platform. At least 43 percent of the more than 12,000 ratings are now positive, which results in a “balanced” overall rating of the game.
