The Last of Us Part 1 for PC contains some exclusive content related to HBO series The Sopranos and Game of Thrones. Earlier this year, HBO released the highly anticipated TV adaptation of Naughty Dog’s video game The Last of Us. It was an immediate hit and led to a quick renewal for a second season. It’s currently unknown when it will hit the screens, but it introduced a whole new audience to the franchise, resulting in a spike in PlayStation sales for the game. The recently released PC version was also supposed to be a big celebration, but it came out in a very bad state and caused a lot of negativity. Considering that the game first came to PC after fans have been waiting for it for ten years, this is very upsetting for users.
However, if you’re playing the PC version, or if you’ve made it to the PC version since the patch, it has some cool bonuses that the PS5 version of The Last of Us Part 1 doesn’t have. Fans have found that this version of the game has a ton of exclusive content related to classic HBO shows if you complete the main story. Ellie will receive unlockable t-shirts inspired by Game of Thrones, Deadwood, The Sopranos, The Wire and The Leftovers. This is evident from the close and successful collaboration between HBO and Naughty Dog on the series. Likewise, those who purchase the game on Steam will be able to receive unlockable Left 4 Dead and Portal T-shirts for Ellie. Ellie can get an Alan Wake T-shirt from the Epic Games Store.
It’s unknown if these HBO tees will make it to the PS5 version, but it’s possible it will come later as free DLC. It’s a fun touch for those who appreciate all these series.
