A lot of information about the ARK franchise appeared today – the developers talked about plans to release a next-gen version of the original ARK, close the old version of the project and postpone the release of ARK II until the end of 2024. Until now, there is practically no information about the game ARK II. And, as Studio Wildcard said, this year you should not expect it.
In a press release with information about the transfer of ARK II, the developers said that there is no need to expect gameplay or screenshots of the project this year:
We sincerely apologize for this delay and sincerely thank you for your understanding. Your support and enthusiasm is vital to us and we will continue to work intensively to provide an unrivaled next generation dinosaur survival experience. With that in mind, we have no plans to show gameplay/screenshots/videos of ARK II this year; however, we intend to keep you informed and involved in the development process by regularly showing off more ARK II assets in the coming months, leading to gameplay reveals next year.
Recall that ARK II is being created only for Xbox Series X | S and PC. The game will become part of Game Pass immediately upon release.
