The Samsung Galaxy S24 will be the next top of the range from the South Korean manufacturer with a presentation expected only at the beginning of next year. However, rumors about them are already multiplying, mainly to account for their likely improvements.
In the various improvement vectors of these Android tops of the range, the amount of RAM memory that they will offer should be considered. According to the latest rumors, this can now reach a maximum of 16 GB of RAM on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra may have up to 16 GB of RAM
Who advances with this information is Tarun Vats through his profile on the social network Twitter. Widely disseminated by the specialized media, this is, however, a thesis for which we still do not have official confirmation.
The source then notes an increase in available memory schemes in all elements of the Samsung Galaxy S24 line. Indeed, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ will be the main beneficiaries, now having 12 GB of RAM.
Still with regard to these smartphones, their base internal memory will also be improved to 256 GB. That is, the base version of these two Android tops could be 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
It is, however, in the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra that you will find a new high for the brand’s devices. This is because, according to the same source, it will offer a variant with 16 GB of RAM.
This variant will certainly take the place of the current one that provides 12 GB of RAM. That is, it will only be available on higher versions of the Galaxy S24 Ultra with 512 GB or 1 TB of storage.
The presence of 16 GB of RAM is not unheard of in a smartphone in the Android segment. There are already several devices with such an offer, especially in the gaming segment.
In any case, it will be a novelty in Samsung devices that currently maximize their offer with 12 GB of RAM. Is the presence of 16 GB of RAM necessary in a product of this category? That’s a topic for another conversation.
