April 5th, 2023 at 12:30 pm by Philipp Sattler – In the upcoming patch 10.1, the WoW developers will revise the current group loot system in the raid and implement the “Transmog” function. This will hopefully allow transmog hunters to get loot in the future even if they already have better gear.
“Item level passes, but transmogs are forever!” – so the famous motto of many transmog hunters. Because while many players are uninterested in all equipment that does not strengthen their own character, transmog fans are chasing after all items that give them a new template for their wardrobe. With the current loot system in the raid (and especially in the LFR) this is not so easy.
Because as soon as you wear a better item on the slot in question, you can only roll “Greed”. This puts you in the ranks of all players who don’t really care about the item, but who would sell it for the 3 gold 50. This is over from WoW (buy now) patch 10.1, because then the transmog function will come into the loot window.

Blizzard developers have enabled the race change service for the WotLK Classic section of World of Warcraft for the first time.
Need > Transmog > Greed > Pass
The new “Transmog” button replaces the greed button if you haven’t already collected the template for the item in question. In practice, you will see (in the optically revised) selection window of the loot either transmog or greed.
In the future, as before, the need rolls will be considered first. If there are none, the transmog rolls are used and greed comes last.
The items should be distributed primarily to players who can still use them, with performance being sorted before optics. Only if you carry a better item and already have the corresponding template can you only roll greed or pass and thus have little chance of getting the item.

Apparently there are still some problems when warriors can currently roll on cloth things. Such problems should be resolved by the release on the live server. How do you like that the developers now also consider transmog fans when assigning loot? Good step or unnecessary detail?
