MSI victim of ransomware attack: 4 million dollars, or 1.5 TB of source code on the street

MSI has fallen victim to a ransomware attack. Hacker group Money Message claims to have held 1.5 TB of source code and databases hostage, and is demanding $4 million. The code would include the framework on which MSI’s bios runs, and the keys to sign a new bios update.
