The fans of The Sims are waiting for the arrival of Life by Youthe first serious rival of The Sims, which is very reminiscent of the EA game, but aspires to be more complete, realistic and serious.
Life by You, obra de Paradox Interactiveseeks to win over players who are tired of The Sims 4 with key changes, which could be summed up as more freedom: being able to control the Sim directly, being able to customize the town itself, and being able to install mods very easily (something that Paradox encourages).
In an interview for Axios, Rod Humblecreator of Life by You (and previous producer of The Sims 3) has given new details and differences from The Sims.

Life by You – Tráiler
Life by You will be more adult, says Rod Humble
“I wanted the emotional core of the game to be more adult and to respect the intelligence of the audience,” Humble said, explaining some changes to the game, such as characters speaking real languages, instead of unintelligible mutterings.
“Part of this decision was motivated by the phrase ‘the limits of my language mean the limits of my world’ by Ludwig Wittgenstein.”
Like The Sims, in Life by You you can choose the gender, sexuality and pronouns of the characters. But an important change (motivated by being a European company, they say) is that Life by You will have nudity.
It will be disabled by default, but it will be possible to see our avatars as they came into the world, unlike The Sims, where there is a red line that they will never cross, and that you can only avoid with tricks (Sims have pixelated bodies).
What is not yet decided on Life by You is whether to include abortion as an option, something that does not exist in The Sims. The Paradox team will “collectively decide how abortion rights and women’s health should be represented in the game.”
