Subscribers to the Playstation Plus levels Extra and Premium can also look forward to selected new releases this month. We reveal which titles will be added to the PlayStation Plus library in April 2023.
Last week, Sony Interactive Entertainment unlocked the PlayStation Plus Essential new releases for the current month of April 2023. We’ll tell you what the titles have to offer in terms of gameplay here.
In addition to unlocking the Essential titles, the new releases for the Extra and Premium levels were presented this Wednesday evening. With “Doom Eternal”, “The Evil Within” and “Kena: Bridge of Spirits” there are several highlights that were very popular when they were originally released and still provide exciting entertainment today.
In addition, retro fans will get their money’s worth with a PlayStation Plus Premium subscription and will be treated to the classics “Doom” and “Doom 3”, among others.

However, today’s announcement of new releases for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium doesn’t mean you can get started right away. Instead, as usual, some patience is required, since the new releases will only be activated in the coming week. To be more precise, on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 around (probably) 11 a.m. our time.
Since those responsible at Sony Interactive Entertainment are relying on a fixed system for PlayStation Plus, the dates for May 2023 can already be predicted. So next month’s Essential titles will be revealed on April 26, 2023 and unlocked on Wednesday, May 2, 2023.
The Extra and Premium releases, on the other hand, will be presented on May 10, 2023 and will be available from May 16, 2023. You can of course find all the important details about the PlayStation Plus line-up for the coming month on PLAY3.de.
