Each month, the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium see a few games bow out: it’s a logical cycle that we are now used to. Here are the next titles from the catalog… and there are a lot of them.
Hello Goodbye
Free access video game catalogs are slowly but surely starting to become more commonplace: the trend was generated by several giants in the sector such as Sony with its PlayStation Now in 2014, but also and above all Microsoft with its iconic Game Pass. Since then, its Japanese rival has followed suit by upgrading its famous PlayStation Plus, whose Extra and Premium formulas offer a whole catalog of titles to download and play on PS4 and PS4.
As tradition dictates, every month new games arrive. We warned you just yesterday of the new arrivals scheduled for April 2023, with in particular pretty pearls like Kena Bridge of Spirits or the excellent DOOM Eternal. Alas, the PlayStation Plus will also see softs leave the catalog in May… 32, to be exact.
32 games are about to leave, including Spider-Man!
It’s a logical rollover to be expected. When a video game is available on PlayStation Plus (or Xbox Game Pass), his publisher signs a rental contract and after a while, it expires, prompting his departure from the catalog.
On May 16, 2023, thirty-two titles will leave PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Premium. Nothing prevents them from coming back one day or another, but as they stand, you therefore have a little more than a month to complete them if you are subscribed to the service in question… and in the heap, there are some big hits, like Spider-Man or the Metro.
