Switch gamers who are passionate about the Alien series will be happy to know that they will soon be able to immerse themselves in the atmospheres of the coop shooter Aliens Fireteam Elite on their hybrid console.
Made by Ubitus, the Switch transposition of the science fiction shooter from Cold Iron studios will boast the same contents as the PC, PlayStation and Xbox versions of Aliens Fireteam Elite, including all updates and patches that have characterized its post-launch support from mid 2021 to present.
The content parity between the ‘Nintendian’ porting of Fireteam Elite and the other versions of the title is reaffirmed by Cold Iron and Ubitus with the cross-platform cross-play confirmationa feature that will allow all fans to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the space shooter and work together to eradicate the threat posed by the Xenomorphs.
The title, we recall, offers more than 30 types of weapons that can be equipped and a total of 70 modifications and attachmentsthanks to which you can ‘hold off’ the 11 types of Xenomorph that will attack the Colonial Marines in waves.
The new version of Aliens Fireteam Elite will be available on the Switch family of consoles from April 26thjust in time for theAlien Day celebrated annually by all fans of the series.
