“I am disappointed with my performance. His right hand kept hitting me and I couldn’t get out of the way. It was a good fight, but I could have done better.
I haven’t fought a southpaw in a long time. We must give him credit, he is a good boxer. It’s just a disappointment. I expected to win, as usual.
Zhang Zhilei is a good fighter who hits hard. He is an awkward boxer because he is left-handed and hits hard.
I would like to apologize to all my fans. I’ll be back, my journey is not over. It’s just an obstacle that I tripped over.”
