You can no longer enable dynamic resolution with path tracing.
CD Projekt RED has released a small update for the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077. This is not a full patch, but a set of hotfixes; it doesn’t even change the version of the game.
The update disables the use of dynamic resolution when path tracing is enabled. Now, when activating a new trace, the option responsible for dynamic resolution will always be disabled.
The developers also fixed a couple of critical bugs in the final tasks of the game. CD Projekt doesn’t specify what the errors are; we only know that because of them Cyberpunk 2077 could crash.
The developers warn that installing the update “may affect the operation of mods.” Judging by the comments on Steam, some mods actually broke, modders had to update them.
After installing the update, some players began to complain about the inability to launch Cyberpunk 2077: the game began to crash right at the start. There are several dozen such complaints in the comments, the developers have not yet commented on them.
