Sony Interactive Entertainment changed PlayStation Plus in June 2022 and introduced several new features with the arrival of new levels, Extra and Premium.
These two new levels include access to a Games Catalog that is updated monthly with PS5 and PS4 news. The PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog also loses games on a regular basis and unlike monthly updates (also available to Essential members), subscribers lose access once they are removed from the service.
For May, Sony announced that it will remove more than 30 games from the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogue, which means that they will be out of reach of subscribers, unless they buy them to continue playing.
When it announced the arrival of the April news, Sony confirmed some of the games that it will remove on May 15th, but the “Last Chance” section reveals that there are actually more than 30 games that will leave the PS Plus Extra catalog and PS Plus Premium next May.
Sony said in the PS Plus relaunch last June that it would regularly add and remove games, but no one would have guessed losing more than 30 games at once.
Here are the games confirmed to be leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium on May 15th:
