According to creative director The Division 2 Yannick Bancherothe game is unlikely to receive a fresh version specifically for new consoles.
The author noted that the developers prefer to develop the potential of the current edition of the action game, which is available for two generations of console platforms. If they focus only on PS5 and Xbox Seriesyou will have to completely abandon the old versions.
However, a large number of gamers still continue to play on older platforms, so the creators do not want to “drop them” and require users to improve the console. Now the developers are trying to develop the game so that all fresh content works well on the previous generation of platforms.
