Tomorrow, May 2, the first trailer of the film adaptation will be released. Grand Touring from the director Neela Blomkamp (“District #9”).
For now Sony presented a short video-announcement, where you can see the performers of the main roles in the face of David Harbor (“Stranger Things”) and Archie Madekwe (“Solstice”). In addition, the character flashed in the video Orlando Bloom.
The plot of the tape, based on real events, tells about a young gamer who ended up in the Gran Turismo academy and eventually got behind the wheel of a real racing car, entering the competition.
Even in the past, Blomkamp noted that the authors want to convey the “real” feeling of the race, so the cars are most often not stuntmen, but the actors themselves. The film is slated for release on August 11th.
