Next year season 2 of Andor will land in the Disney+ catalog, which will put an end to the serie which serves as a prequel to the events of the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story about the origins of Cassian Andor.
With the return of several well-known characters, there are many fans who hope to find a brief cameo of Felicity Jones and meet again with diego luna in the new season.
Felicity Jones was the main protagonist of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story playing Jyn Erso, a young woman who will end up being part of a group of rebels that will be key to the destruction of the Galactic Empire, because thanks to them the Rebel Alliance managed to get hold of the Death Star plans and locate the weak point that Jyn’s father left prepared.
Will we see Jyn Erso in Andor season 2?
During an interview for BBC One’s The One Show (via Comicbook) he was asked Felicity Jones about his possible return to Star Wars reprising her role as Jyn Erso in the new season of Andor.
However, the actress confirmed that at the moment there are no plans for her in Andor season 2whose production is currently underway in the United Kingdom.
“I’m afraid to say I won’t be there, but I still have hope that Jyn Erso will come back at some point. But no, unfortunately I won’t be there,” Jones said.
However, despite expressing his desire to see Jyn Erso again in Star Wars, Jones admitted that he doesn’t like to reprise any of his previous roles.which makes the possible return of the protagonist of Rogue One in the future even more uncertain.
“Actually, I wouldn’t want to repeat any of [mis personajes]. It’s a lot of fun: once you’ve done it and you’ve tucked them into bed, then you’re ready for the next challenge.”
