It appears Little Nightmares 3 is in development, according to a recent job posting from Bandai Namco. The horror-tinged game developed as a platform and littered with small puzzles that made Tarsier Studios famous is returning, probably with its third chapter.
We say probably, why there is no official announcement of Little Nightmares 3 yetbut more on Bandai Namco’s LinkedIn profile, a job advertisement has appeared, where we are looking for, for the European division of the company, a production assistant for the team working on the Little Nightmares franchise.
The description of the announcement refers to a project not yet specifiedbut that it is more than natural to think of the third chapter of the series, stating that the ideal candidate to fill the position will have to help the team by providing “feedback on the progress of the project, and analyzing the results obtained on multiple platforms, carrying out comparative playthroughs, collaborating with the QA team, etc etc”
What is sure is that working on the potential third chapter will not be the guys from tarsier studios, focused on other projects, but a new study. However, the rights to the game remain in the hands of Bandai Namco, who can decide who to entrust any future work on their IPs.
Just a few weeks ago, Bandai Namco announced that the series had exceeded 12 million copies soldan excellent result for this great little game, which has all the credentials to be able to continue with other disturbing adventures.
