The Blindflug Studios team brought the Ground of Aces strategy to Kickstarter. This is a World War II military airfield manager.
It is not necessary to personally participate in combat missions. Players will manage the ground infrastructure, establishing not only the defense and supply of the airfield, but also the life of pilots with technicians.
You will have to send pilots on sorties and repel enemy attacks, while at the same time collecting a collection of “legendary aircraft of the Second World War.” Some of the aircraft will need very large hangars.
The developers plan to recreate dozens of British, German and US aircraft. The appearance of Soviet aviation is not yet planned: the Ground of Aces story campaign is dedicated to the Battle of Britain.
Perhaps in the future, Ground of Aces will receive other story campaigns. Among the options, the developers name the war in the Pacific Ocean and the plot associated with Soviet night bombers.
It was planned to raise 30 thousand euros for the creation of Ground of Aces, in the first few days of the campaign they managed to raise more than 51 thousand euros. The crowdfunding campaign of the project will end on June 2.
Ground of Aces is scheduled for release in August 2024.
