After the predecessors, everyone expects that “Mortal Kombat 12” will have guest characters just like its predecessors. Windows Central’s Jez Corden, who may have confirmed the first two DLC characters, is causing new speculation.
Even if in the current annual report from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has been confirmedthat “Mortal Kombat 12” is in development and will be released in 2023, it is still unclear when the official unveiling of the fighting title can be expected.
Most recently, Mortal Kombat 12 has been linked to a possible announcement as part of the big PS5 Games Showcase, which is reportedly later this month could take place.
Windows Central editor Jez Corden, who has always stood out for his insider knowledge in the past and broke into conversation two possible guest characters for “Mortal Kombat 12”, provides new topics of conversation this week.
Here we are dealing with DC’s Peacemaker on the one hand and the Homelander on the other hand, which could possibly find their way into the new offshoot of the long-running fighting title series as guest characters.
Guest characters are almost de rigueur
Even if Corden is mostly correct with his statements and forecasts, it remains to be seen whether NetherRealm Studios actually managed to secure the two comic characters for an appearance in “Mortal Kombat 12”. Selected guest characters shouldn’t come as a surprise, since various well-known characters were involved in the predecessors – including the Xenomorph from the “Alien” series, John Rambo or Freddy Krueger from the legendary “Nightmare” or “A Nightmare on”. Elm Street series.
Even if it is still unclear when “Mortal Kombat 12” will ultimately be presented, the responsible developers at NetherRealm Studios also recently pointed to one little teaser indicated that the official announcement of the Fighting title could be imminent.
According to unconfirmed reports, “Mortal Kombat 12” could have both Shao-Khans General Reiko as well as the Konquest modea single-player story experience, are making a comeback.
