PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in May 2023: Sony today announced the new additions for the current month. They will be unlocked for PS4 and PS5 in the coming week.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can tune into new games multiple times a month, depending on the tier they choose. And after last week’s Essential tier newcomers have been unlockedtoday it was the turn of the unveiling of the new games for PS Plus Extra and Premium.
At least one game that will be a part of PS Plus Extra and Premium in May was already no longer a secret. So will „Humanity“ published directly as a “free title” in the current month. The following overview reveals all other new additions.

The new additions to PS Plus Extra and Premium cannot be played immediately. Rather, they will only be activated in the coming week. The provision can be expected on May 16, 2023 shortly before noon. We will draw your attention to this in a separate message.
However, some games will also be removed from the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium libraries in May. This includes games like Metro: Last Light Redux, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance, among many others.

PS Plus dates for June 2023
Even if the year 2023 has only just begun, it is already possible to look ahead to June. With Sony sticking to a specific system, PS Plus dates can be predicted for the coming month.
With just a few exceptions, PS Plus Essential games still unlock on the first Tuesday of the month and are announced on the Wednesday of the previous week. The announcements and unlocks of the new additions to Extra and Premium follow in the two weeks after the Essential unlock. Based on this, the following plan results for June:

There have been months in the past when Sony didn’t stick to the usual planning. It is also possible that there will be leaks again before the new games are announced.
