The third Guardians of the Galaxy movie was highly praised by this association, for obvious reasons.
If you’re a fan of MCU movies, you’ve probably seen or planned to see Guardians of the Galaxy 3. This feature film is currently in theaters since May 3. Directed by James Gunn, it is the second film of phase 5. It takes place 11 years after the second part and a few months after Thor: Love and Thunder. The story focuses on the Rocket character who is in danger. After its first weekend in theaters, this title is getting good feedback from fans and the press, with in particular a score of 82% on Rotten Tomatoes. Some define this film as being the best production of the MCU since the release of Avengers: Endgame.

Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Appreciated by PETA
Without spoilers or going into details, the new Guardians of the Galaxy film brings to life the past of Rocket’s character and all that he has been able to endure. Other animals are also present, and this part of the story was much appreciated by the association PETA (“For an ethics in the treatment of animals”). The message conveyed by this MCU title concerning animal rights is strong and the spectators came out of it particularly moved. The famous association awarded the “Not a Number” prize to the director James Gunn for his depiction of the cruelties of animal testing in this third installment of Guardians of the Galaxy. PETA later added of the award: “reminding viewers that all animals deserve a life of freedom in the open rather than being locked up in laboratory cages.”
To sum up, in addition to being a good film, it offers a real reflection on animal exploitation. Needless to say that a good part of the spectators do not come out of this feature film completely indifferent, some having shed a few tears during the viewing.
