News culture 4 years later, this critically acclaimed series returns to Prime Video with a season 2, but if no one remembers the script

Some projects may take longer to complete than others. This is true in video games, in cinema or even in music. But it also happens that between one season and another, many months pass and the fans, tired, move on. Good Omens, it may not mean anything to you, but the series will return this summer to the delight of those who were waiting for a miracle. An explanation is in order…
Amazon Prime Video announces the good news
In May 2019, it had only been a few months since France had won their second World Cup and the world was far from imagining that the next few years were going to be so eventful. At the time, Amazon Prime Video released the Good Omens series, which is based on an eponymous novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Between fantasy and mythology, Neil Gaiman’s creation has been divided into six episodes. Set in 2018, the story chronicles the journey of the demon Crowley and the angel Aziraphale who managed to come to terms with their differences to live in harmony on Earth. As representatives of Heaven and Hell, they have established strict rules and stick to them. Also, when they are told that Armageddon is about to happen, they decide to join forces to save the planet and ward off the threat.
Good Omens back for season 2!
As the armies of good and evil come together, Season 2 has been highly anticipated! The problem is that since 2019, a few years have passed and people have forgotten (almost) everything about the plot and the events of the series. Not surprisingly, it regularly happens that players launch games and do not finish them. And a few months later, when you find them, it is sometimes impossible to find your way around or understand the story. There, it’s the same thing, but over several years. Suffice to say that we must hope that this season 2, which will land on July 28, is accompanied by a complete summary. Otherwise, it may be very difficult to get back into it.
