Fitbit Versa 3 at the best price?
An elegant watch that retains the advantages of the Versa 2
Putting the Fitbit Versa 2 and 3 side by side would show how similar these two connected watches are. We thus find, on the Versa 3 which interests us today, this characteristic square format, but with some more marked rounding, but still without borders. However, a few small changes have been made, such as increasing the size of the screen: the AMOLED panel measures 1.58 inches here, against 1.34 for the old model. We are also entitled to a better image definition (336 x 336 pixels against 300 x 300 pixels).
Otherwise, certain features already present in the Versa 2 have returned with the Versa 3, such as its water resistance up to 50 meters, its activity tracker, sleep tracking, guided breathing sessions, the reception of notifications, monitoring of the menstrual cycle, the number of calories burned during the day or constant heart monitoring.
Fitbit has obviously made some improvements to make its Versa 3 really interesting. One of the main ones being the integration of a GPS, which allows you to do your running session without having to take your smartphone with you. In addition, this addition makes it possible to obtain a much more precise tracking of its position, compared to what the Versa 2 offered. In addition, the Versa 3 is also able to measure the level of oxygen in your blood (or SpO2) automatically at night. Another very practical addition: the integration of Google Assistant (Fitbit having been acquired by Alphabet), but also microphones and speakers to receive all your voice requests. Note that Alexa is also in the game.
Finally, where the Fitbit Versa 3 scores a lot of points is in terms of its ultra-efficient charging. It’s simple: in just 12 minutes of charging, the watch is able to recover 24 hours of autonomy. In total, you’ll get six days of battery life on a full charge, depending on the brand.
