In just over a month, we’ll be bringing our favorite witcher Geralt of Rivia back to the Netflix series The Witcher can accompany. We only recently received the first pictures from the new season. But the third season is also associated with a farewell, so it will be the last time that we Henry Cavill be experienced in the role of Geralt. With the end of the third season, Henry Cavill, who is a big fan of the games himself, will leave the series. Cavill played the witcher Geralt of Rivia in seasons 1-3. However, he will ab Season 4 to be replaced by Liam Hemsworth. In an interview Anya Chalotra, who plays Yennefer von Vengerberg, talked about how she feels about the departure of her esteemed colleague.
“All we had were the feelings we always have when a season comes to an end. We were filled with pride, love and joy for what we had accomplished,” begins Chalotra.
“So we just lingered in that moment. The news was…well, it’s hard to take. He’s an essential part of the show and we all appreciate him, so we’re going to miss him very much. I wish him only that Best.”
When is The Witcher Season 3 coming out?
The first five episodes of The Witcher are out on June 29th exclusively on Netflix. Another three episodes will eventually appear on July 27th. While Netflix used to be known for releasing all episodes at once, on their particularly successful productions they give way to how Stranger Things and The Witcher are increasingly deviating from it and instead unlock the episodes in several batches.
