During the server slam, the Necromancer class and its servants received a buff in Diablo IV.
The last beta before the launch of Diablo IV took place at the weekend with the server slam. Players could try out the first act of the RPG, venturing into dark dungeons and, with enough bravery, even battle world boss Ashava.
As you can see from the feedback from the beta, the last nerf to the Necromancer and its minions seems to have overshot the mark a bit. Rod Fergusson and the Blizzard team agree.
Fergusson said on Twitter, “I’m definitely hearing the feedback on the Necro nerfs. I can feel them too. Remember, balance is a journey, not a destination – it takes tweaking to get it right.”
And so yesterday a server-side hotfix was deployed that improves the companions’ survivability.
Furthermore, be aware that goblins do not drop loot. But Fergusson did not say what will be done about it.
