As part of a press event in Munich, publisher Aerosoft recently presented two interesting simulations, each using cities in Germany as a setting. On the one hand, the “CityDriver” planned for June 6th, in which you drive your car realistically through different parts of the Bavarian state capital. On the other hand “SubwaySim Hamburg” – a game in which you can prove your skills as a subway driver in the Hanseatic city. You can find out what else the two simulations have to offer below.
With “CityDriver” from the pen of ViewApp GmbH from Vienna, Austria, the name says it all: As a normal driver, you take a seat behind the wheel of a regular car and maneuver through typical big city traffic – in this case that of Munich. A part of the city has been recreated here on a scale of 1:1, starting at the centrally located Karlsplatz and extending via Schwabing up to the northern part of the Englischer Garten – including a short jaunt on the inner-city motorway. Developer ViewApp attaches great importance to authenticity, which is why you can basically use a regular city map of Munich to find your way around the game world.
