Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Anton Tsarenko spoke about the first meeting with the head coach of the capital giant Mircea Lucescu.
“He said: “Look, I left you with the first team, so you must show all your strongest qualities that you showed in the youth team. There is a lot of competition here, and you should have a corresponding desire to fight for a place at the base and work on yourself always.
These are the words Lucescu motivated us to fight for a place in the base,” said Tsarenko.
This season, Tsarenko played 12 matches for Dynamo in all tournaments and scored one goal. His contract with the people of Kiev is valid until December 31, 2024.
