Two medals were won by Ukrainian “fast walkers” at the European Race Walking Championship, which took place in the Czech city of Podebrady.
Thus, the women’s team of Ukraine consisting of Lyudmila Olyanovska, Elena Sobchuk and Anna Shevchuk won the silver medal in the 20 km distance in the team event.
Vasilisa Sidorchuk, Alina Tsviliy and Valentina Nayavko became bronze medalists at a distance of 35 km in the team event.
