With this trick you can get infinite Fantasomo Emblems in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, taking advantage of a harmless bug, and buy everything Kilton sells you.
In just two weeks since Zelda Tears of the Kingdom was released, players have found dozens of tricks to duplicate objects: duplicate weapons and shields, use the shield method to duplicate rare items…
The community is finding other bugs in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom that aren’t game-breaking by any means, but can be used to farm items.
For example, this bug will allow us to get Infinite Ghost Emblems (and only Ghost Emblems and the remnants of the ghosts, nothing more). These objects are used to buy in the Kilton store, we explain how to exploit it! (at least, in version 1.1.2).
Summary of the trick to get Infinite Ghost Emblems
This bug is even easier than other duplicate cheats. You won’t even have to do much of anything weird, because here’s what happens: When you find a Ghost in a cave, you must defeat him and then use Infiltration (the power to rise to the surface), but not to rise to the surface, but hit B and come back before exiting on the other side.
When you return to the place before, you will see that the body of the defeated Ghost is still there, disappearing to give you the Ghost Crest… but another Ghost has appeared next to it.
So you only have to defeat the “duplicate” Phantasm, go up, down, and so on ad infinitum.
Where to perform this trick: Zora cave
Let’s explain this trick in more detail. For it to work, it has to be a cave deep enough that when using infiltration it takes Link more than three seconds to go through the rock (in that kind of green “limbo”).
Therefore, any cave in which there are Ghosts will not work (remember that there is a Ghost in each of the caves in the game).
The best place to get this is the cave of the zora, which you’ll get to if you follow the main story in the Zora region, as youtuber HeyHans has discovered. You get to that cave jumping from the top of Zora city to the whirlpool in the lake.
You will have to explore the cave. At the bottom of the cave is where the Ghost is. Shoot an arrow at him and you will kill him instantly. This is when you must use Infiltration to rise to the surface. Wait three seconds climbing up that green “limbo” and press B to cancel the climb and return to the surface. When you return, shoot an arrow again at the new Ghost that has appeared and repeat the trick as long as you want.
