A few weeks after the publication of the spectacular opening sequence of Blue Protocol, the digital forges of Project Blue Sky regain social media to announce the launch date of Bandai Namco’s anime-style MMO in Japan and confirm, unfortunately, the referral to the West.
The new role-playing action experience of Bandai Namco Online, consequently, will have to wait a little longer in Europe and North America, reports the Japanese publisher himself, setting the opening of the servers of the Japanese version only for June 14, 2023.
The western port of Blue Protocol, produced and distributed by Amazon Games, was scheduled for launch in the second half of 2023, but evidently the translation and conversion work for the latest generation Sony and Microsoft consoles needs more time to be completed. The launch in the West of the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S versions of Blue Protocol has in fact been postponed to 2024, anticipated however by a Closed Beta phase which will be held later in 2023 on PC.
We are therefore waiting to receive further details on this testing phase and, obviously, on the official launch date of the new Bandai Namco and Amazon Games online RPG in the West; in the meantime, we advise you to read our special on Blue Protocol, Bandai Namco’s anime-style MMO.
