Bungie has blown away all Destiny 2 fans over the course of PlayStation Showcasean event during which he showed the public the first video in computer graphics de The Ultimate Formthe final expansion of the current narrative cycle of the shooter.
The brief trailer doesn’t provide any concrete details on what’s to come, and with still a few seasons to go, the team probably doesn’t want to blow any twists and turns in a trailer. However, this does not mean that the video shown did not have an impact on viewers, on the contrary: in the center of the video we can in fact observe Ikora Ray which summarizes the latest events a Cayde-6, the legendary gunslinger who met his end in the Forsaken prologue. For some reason unknown to us, the hunter will come back to life and join in the epic final battle against the Witnesswho took refuge inside the Traveler at the end of the Lightfall campaign.
The trailer, which closes with Cayde-6 preparing her new one Ace of Spades and looks towards the Traveler with Ikora Ray at his side, foretelling that the next August 22, 2023 there will be a streaming event where the expansion will be presented.
