Several insiders have posted details about a new instanced region that will be added to Genshin Impact in patch 3.8, replacing the Golden Apple Archipelago. It was originally supposed to be called Penumbra, but vississ notes that the location will be called Ryukyu Mirage.
Informant Mero has published a full map of the new area, which can be found just above. In terms of size, it will be comparable to the Archipelago, if only land is taken into account. To get to this location, you will first have to complete an introductory quest, since it is on a separate level, like Encanomia or the Underground Rift Mines.
In terms of climate, players are waiting for the tropical jungle, surrounded by sands. In them you can find a huge amusement park, in which there are even roller coasters that connect separate areas with each other.
A little later, Team China posted screenshots of the new region. On them you can see the entrance to the park and the mountains. True, the presented area does not look like a tropical forest. Perhaps in some areas a more ordinary landscape awaits us.
