Disney Plus has announced Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire. The ten-part animation series on African culture will be published on Wednesday 5 July.
Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire is a new series of 10 stand-alone short stories by writers and illustrators from Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda and Zimbabwe. The series promises to take viewers on “an unforgettable journey through Africa’s vision of the future, allowing you to experience the continent as you’ve never seen it before.”
The animated films sought inspiration from the rich and diverse history of various African cultures and wrapped it in a science fiction/fantasy jacket. The continent is packed with advanced technology, aliens, ghosts and monsters in this future.
