The lineup of Acer laptops has replenished with 16-inch Swift Edge and Predator Triton with modern “stuffing”. The first laptop has been updated to the AMD Ryzen 7040 (Phoenix) platform, while the second uses a combination of 13th generation Intel Core chips and discrete GeForce RTX 40 series graphics.
One of the highlights of the Acer Swift Edge 16 is a 16-inch 3200 x 2000 pixel OLED display with 500 cd/m² brightness, 0.2ms response time, 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. . The vendor also notes support for the Wi-Fi 7 wireless standard with data transfer rates up to 5.8 Gbps.
The equipment of the laptop includes up to 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a PCI-E 4.0 x4 SSD with a capacity of up to 2 TB, and the “heart” of the device is the Ryzen 7 7840U processor (8 cores / 16 threads, 3.3 / 5.1 GHz) with integrated Radeon 780M graphics. In Ukraine, the updated Acer Swift Edge 16 (SFE16-43) will appear in July with a price of 65,999 hryvnia.
The new Acer Predator Triton 16 (PT16-51) uses 13th generation Core chips up to Core i9 and GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop graphics accelerator. “Under the hood” are up to 32 GB of DDR5-5200 memory and a RAID 0 array of a pair of NVMe drives up to 2 TB. The IPS screen of the laptop has a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, a brightness of 500 cd / m², a refresh rate of 240 Hz and support for Nvidia G-Sync. The novelty will arrive on the Ukrainian market in September with an initial price of UAH 88,999.
