The new Alone in the Dark has got an official release date: the project will be released on October 25 this year, as announced by THQ Nordic publishing house together with developers from Pieces Interactive studio.
In honor of this announcement, the creators of the game released a video that you can find at the end of this news, and also presented a prologue – it will be free for everyone and will offer to play for 11-year-old Grace Saunders.
The plot of Alone in the Dark is based on the story of one of the patients of the Derketo hospital named Jeremy Hartwood. He has recently been distinguished by strange behavior and turns to Grace, already mentioned above, about a small favor, which consists in delivering a letter to his niece. Probably only she is able to deal with Jeremy’s otherworldly visions. Grace accepted the request and went on a difficult journey through the corridors of the hospital, where a strange entity settled.
You can play the prologue on all platforms announced for release, and these are personal computers (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. There is Russian-language localization in the form of a translation of the interface and subtitles. Pre-orders are also open.
