McDonald’s has been delighting its guests with little gimmicks for decades, but the chain now has something very special to offer in China: a “Tetris” console in the shape of a giant Chicken McNugget.
At McDonald’s China, guests are currently given a console shaped like a Chicken McNugget, along with customizable decals, a carrying case and a removable battery. On the console is “Tetris”, one of the classic games par excellence.
The key layout is specially adapted for “Tetris” and includes functions such as left and right movements, downward movements, a hard drop function and a spin function. The device even plays the iconic melody when it starts up.
The console is part of a promotion celebrating the 40th anniversary of the launch of the Chicken McNuggets. However, getting the device will not be easy, as only 400,000 units were produced.
