Marvelous Game Showcase 2023 brings new looks for STORY OF SEASONS and Rune Factory franchises, special projects and a first look at DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion.

In today’s video, Marvelous Inc. Suminobu Sato, President and CEO of Marvelous Inc., hosts members of the development team to share information about upcoming titles such as Fashion Dreamer, new titles in the STORY OF SEASONS series, and Rune Factory, two new IPs in early stages of development and a first look at the highly anticipated mech action sequel, DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion.
Each title was accompanied by key phrases that addressed the games’ respective themes.
Fashion Dreamer: syn Sophia President and CEO Shuji Yoshida has teamed up with Sato-san for a fresh look at the upcoming fashion influencer game, coming to the Nintendo Switch system this year. Yoshida-san not only showed off some new fashion pieces, but also revealed initial details about the social elements that will be at the heart of the game experience. With the motto “Sharing and Playing Together”, Fashion Dreamer focuses on creativity and connectivity and encourages positive social interactions with a view to free expression.
PROJECT MAGIA: Managing Producer Takehiro Ishida revealed the first details of this upcoming project, themed “A New Frontier”. The development team teamed up with legendary illustrator and writer Hiro Mashima (Fairy Tail) to design the game’s characters and showed off some of the early drafts. More details will be revealed at a later date as the development team works to push this new frontier for Marvelous!
PROJECT LIFE is RPG: PROJECT LIFE is RPG is a brand new IP from Marvelous, reminiscent of influential RPGs by Japanese developers over the years. Director Ittetsu Suzuki spoke to the team about the inspirations behind this new life-themed title, which is similar in many ways to an RPG. With the aim of creating an original title that all RPG fans will love, the team works to capture that “sense of anticipation” just before every great adventure.
STORY OF SEASONS: With the central theme of Experiences, Series Manager Hikaru Nakano unveiled the first footage of the next title in the original farming/life sim series, which shows a new face after 27 years of farming and friendship. Nakano-san also shared exciting news and first concept art for a separate future entry in development planned to bring STORY OF SEASONS fans together with an ambitious new title where you can play with anyone!
Rune Factory: Series Director Shiro Maekawa, along with Sato-san, unveiled the first images of a new installment in the Rune Factory series, “PROJECT DRAGON”. Building on the central theme of East and West, PROJECT DRAGON is set in the long-mentioned, but never featured in the series, “Land of the East” as the Earthmates explore new lands and communities with Japanese design influences become. In addition, Maekawa-san confirmed that Rune Factory 6 is also in development and will be set in the western continent of Adonea, with both upcoming titles representing East and West.
DAEMON X MACHINA: Titanic Scion: Marvelous’ First Studio and visionary producer Kenichiro Tsukuda are back with a new installment in the third-person mech shooter series. Fans can look forward to the return of unforgettable Arsenal action. More details on this anticipated sequel will be revealed at a later date.
