In the past PlayStation Showcase, numerous video games were revealed for the coming weeks and months – Sony also confirmed the persistent rumors about a new handheld in the presentation. Earlier in April, we reported on Inside Gaming’s exclusive report from industry insider Tom Henderson on the alleged development of a portable streaming console dubbed the “Q Lite”.
According to Sony, the handheld, currently codenamed “PlayStation Project Q”, will see the light of day in the video game world towards the end of this year. With Project Q, the owners of a PlayStation 5 in their own four walls should be able to stream the games from the powerful console to the handheld using Remote Play – for example, because the television is occupied elsewhere. Playing from a distance, on the other hand, should probably not be possible, as expected.
