South Korean company Wonder People released in early access in October 2022 Steam superhero battle royale Super People. Already in December, the developers announced that they had made such global improvements and changes that they were renaming the game to Super People 2. And now they have announced that it will close soon. Although many players used the standalone Super People 2 launcher, the Steam traffic data also paints a telling picture. If in October 2022 the maximum attendance of the game reached 47,392 players, now less than 300 people look into it per day. On Twitch the game set a record of views of almost 143 thousand viewers, and now three people are watching the broadcasts.
The sharp drop in interest is confirmed by the developers themselves. They refer to the fact that the small size of the audience complicates the selection of matches and makes them unbalanced. Under such conditions, they cannot provide fans with the previously promised fair and exciting gameplay.
The creators of Super People 2 have announced that they are terminating early access to the game. Game payments are already blocked, as is the download of the client. Those who already have the game installed can continue to play using the available items and diamonds. And from August 21, access to the game will be completely closed.
Wonder People would like to thank everyone who supported the project and look forward to meeting them in other games. In the meantime, he promises to do everything possible for those who remain in Super People 2 until the very end.
