Hamburg (Germany) indie game developer Radioactive Dreams has revealed that retro-like precision platformer Turbo Shell is out on PC via Steam.
Turbo Shell is a fast-paced, precise platform game with unique movement mechanics: instead of running and jumping, you push and pull yourself through the levels with a special tool: EPS (Egg Propulsion System). EPS allows you to bounce off surfaces within range with the blue beam, or pull up to walls and ceilings with the orange beam. The more skillfully you use this unique mechanic, the faster you will overcome increasingly difficult levels and reach your goal in record time.
Using EPS is easy to learn but difficult to master. As you improve your moves, you’ll find even faster and more efficient ways to complete levels. Enjoy the pleasant feeling of skillful flight through the five worlds and climb up the positions on the leaderboard.
The universe as we know it is in danger at the hands of the evil Evil Egg, but as the good egg Craig, you can save it by collecting the objectives scattered throughout each level. Avoid hissing laser barriers, flying buzz saws and dangerous corridors to avoid getting into trouble. Instant respawns and checkpoints will help you stay motivated and achieve your goal.
