If you want to have a smartphone in your pocket that at least has LTE, can snap a few pictures and make calls, but should come from a well-known brand: the Samsung Galaxy A14 currently costs 169 euros in the ALDI ONLINESHOP.
For this price, the A14 offers a 6.6-inch display, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded to up to a terabyte with an SD card. A 2 GHz octa-core processor provides the necessary computing power. The 50 MP quad camera and an 8 MP front camera take snapshots. The 5,000 mAh battery is big enough and the built-in dual sim function ensures that you have good phone reception in two networks – but you have to choose a provider for the data.
Our assessment: Decent entry-level model from a renowned manufacturer that, given its price, at least covers the basics of what you can expect from a smartphone.
