We are talking about the multiplayer racing thriller Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks. According to the plot, the cult of speed-obsessed orcs (those same Speed Freeks) breaks away from endless military campaigns in order to properly chase.
“Addicted to the sound of roaring engines, breakneck speed, suffocating smoke, whipping wind and scorching fire, these freaks drive their war-torn buggies, motorcycles, tanks and trucks to high-speed Waaagh!”, The authors explain the passion of the orcs.
Matches will accommodate 16 people. Players will be offered seven classes of vehicles (killers, tanks, support carts) with different abilities, “luxury” graphics on Unreal Engine 5 and two modes: chase and convoy.
In the first, teams must capture and hold control points at speed, and in the second, they must defend their convoy from a team of rivals, simultaneously attacking the enemy and trying to reach the finish line first.
You can try Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks now as part of the open alpha testing. Only the chase mode is available to participants, and the assembly itself is far from final (bugs, technical problems).
Join in on the fun using the Request Access button on the Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks Steam page. When the game will be released is unclear, but it will be distributed on a shareware model.
